The Optare MetroRider is a step-entrance midibus that was built by Optare between 1989 and 2000.

It was made in November 1989, One thousand one hundred fifty-nine MetroRiders were made.[1][2]

Electric version[change | change source]

An electric version of the MetroRider was made in 1993.[3]

Natural gas version[change | change source]

A natural gas version was made in 1995.[4]
