Gijsbert Lekkerkerker (13 February 1947 – 23 October 2022) was a Dutch organist.
At the age of 17, Lekkerkerker was appointed organist of the Maranathakerk in Woerden. He annually gave about 35 organ concerts in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Israel. He was also an organ teacher.[1] He was awarded the silver medal in Paris in 2003 by the French Arts-Sciences-Lettres for his interpretations of organ works by César Franck, Alexandre Guilmant and Charles-Marie Widor. In 2014 he received this medal for the second time, now in silver with gold.[2]
Lekkerkerker died in Harmelen on 23 October 2022, aged 75.[3]
