Blaze and the Monster Machines is an American animated children's TV series that premieres on Nickelodeon as part of its Nick Jr. Channel block. The show involves a reddish-orange monster machine named Blaze, his best friend, AJ, and their Monster Machine friends: Stripes, a yellowish-orange tiger truck, Starla, a purple pickup truck as a cowgirl, Darington, a blue and white stunt truck, Zeg, a lime green dinosaur truck, and Watts, a magenta electric truck driven by her best friend, Gabby racing around Axel City with the Monster Dome on the other side along with their enemy, Crusher, a deep blue Monster Machine, and his little funny sidekick, Pickle, a green Monster Machine.

The show features a fast reddish-orange monster machine and all of his friends, living in Axel City, a city with a place called the Monster Dome on the other side of it.

  • Blaze (Nolan North) is an orange-red monster truck. He's good-hearted, loyal, and brave. He's a close friend to Starla, the purple friendly cowgirl/pickup truck. His catchphrase is "Let's Blaze!". His eyes are blue. He transforms into anything.
  • AJ (Jakari Fraser) is Blaze's brown human best friend and driver who's so smart. He is a Filipino science and technology expert. He likes driving
  • Crusher (Kevin Michael Richardson) is a deep blue tractor trailer monster truck with a light blue lightning bolt motif who is Blaze's biggest rival. He's really bad at cheating. He has all of his latest inventions inside of him.
  • Pickle (Nat Faxon) is a small, and green singing hatchback monster truck. He's Crusher's sidekick with stripes and bumps on him. He likes joking around.
  • Gabby (Kensington Tallman) is a human mechanic with light skin, blue eyes and purple hair in a ponytail. She wears a white shirt with blue overalls.
  • Stripes (Sunil Malhotra) is a yellow-orange tiger truck with purple stripes on him. He roars a lot. He's from the jungle. He lives in a treehouse.
  • Starla (Kate Higgins) is a purple friendly pickup truck with a sparkly cowgirl hat. She's also a roping expert. She speaks with a thick Southern accent.
  • Darington (Alexander Polinsky) is a blue and white stunt truck with a gold star motif. He likes doing cool tricks.
  • Zeg (James Patrick Stuart) is a light green dinosaur truck who's so prehistoric. He's the best friend of Blaze and AJ.
  • Watts (Melanie Minichino) is a magenta Monster Machine. She is also pretty fast. She's powered by electricity. She speaks with a South American accent.
  • Sparkle (Julieta Cortez) is Blaze's younger sister with hot pink pigtails with yellow stars holding them. Her eyes have glittery pink eye liner and eyelashes. She has a finish of sparkles on her tires (to coincide with her name), which has the same print as her older brother, Blaze, a fast orange-red monster truck who's loyal.

  • Rudy (voiced by Jeff Bennett) is Crusher's teammate. Based on Hummer H2 SUT converted to a 2-door single cab with Starla's grille and wheel wells.
  • Ferris (voiced by Jeff Bennett) is a chopped roof tow truck. In the Season 1 episode "The Mystery Bandit", at the very ending scene, it turns out to be that he was actually the one who took the lost items. Yet once again based on GMC Sierra.
